fun on the farm

Today I picked up D from school and we drove to my friend's house. She in turn took us to her friend's house where there is a mini-farm. We got to hug, hold and admire baby pigs (very sweet but noisy squeekers), baby bunnies, baby goats, a baby miniature donkey named Priscilla, plus see angora rabbits, turkey poults, geese, chickens, cats, dogs, ponies. It was a fun afternoon.

One funny event that happened while we were there, we noticed that there were two chicken eggs in with the Vietnamese Potbellied Pig (who is rather large). I guess the chickens like her pen for their nesting box. The eggs had to be retrieved very carefully but retrieved they were. Pretty speckled things, still warm.
