first farm day

Today was the day!!! It was so nice to go to the farm, see a few returning apprentices and meet one of the new ones. Today's pickup was great, a half-pint of early glow strawberries, radishes, scallions, arugula, bok choy, butterhead and red leaf lettuce. The first few weeks are usually a little slow. but this is a delicious start and we know the bounty that will be forthcoming.

I think it's BLT's for dinner tonight and stir-fry on Thursday.
